    Leverage Iowa Compass

Iowa Compass is the primary source Iowa Navigators will use to identify available resources for the people who contact us. The resources in the database are specialized for people with disabilities across the lifespan, from twinkles-to-wrinkles, and their caregivers. The Iowa Compass database include agencies, programs and services across the state, and some national organizations who serve Iowans.

    Building Community

The Iowa ADRC is committed to fostering community and collaboration through two key initiatives: Communities of Practice and Just-in-Time Messaging. Communities of Practice offer a structured space for peer-to-peer learning, shared problem-solving, and mutual support, while Just-in-Time Messaging provides direct, real-time assistance and coaching to meet immediate needs. Together, these initiatives strengthen the Iowa ADRC network, empowering Navigators to support aging and disability communities more effectively.
The ADRC network is currently hosting monthly Communities of Practice. To sign up, please email: iowa-adrc@uiowa.edu
